Angie was born at home, in an air raid, in Rainham, Kent, England. In 1952, the Royal Navy sent the family to South Africa for a wonderful 2 year stay in Fishoek. They emigrated to Canada (Halifax) in 1955 and after 2 years moved to Ottawa where she attended Rideau High School and made many lifelong friends.
After finishing school she moved to London, England for two extended periods in the early 1960s. In 1967 she settled in Vancouver and became a proud employee of Canadian Pacific Airlines until she retired in 2001. Predeceased by her beloved husband Chris, her parents Bill and Doris, and her brother Michael.
Survived by her daughter Jane, her niece Jane, and her 2 stepsons Geoff and Toby and their families.
Many thanks for the wonderful nursing care at the BC Cancer Agency, St. Paul’s Hospital, VGH, and the Vancouver Hospice Society. Please consider making a donation to My Grandfather’s Cat, Raps Cat Sanctuary, Tiny Kittens, and Mountain Seed Foundation.
As the song goes “We’ll meet again”.
