How Our Cremation Services Work

Someone Has Just Passed Away, What Do I Do?

At this moment you are probably feeling lost and overwhelmed. You have never had to deal with this before and you don’t know what to do. Don’t worry, those feelings are perfectly normal, and we are here to help you through the next steps. It may sound cliché, but it really is as easy as 1..2..3:

Step 1: Call our 24-hour service line

Our staff are available to answer any questions you have. Our transfer service works around the clock so whether someone you love passed away during the day, or the middle of the night, we can transfer them into our care.

Step 2: Schedule an appointment with one of our funeral directors

It usually takes no more than 30 minutes to walk you through the paperwork. In person appointments are also available for an additional fee. Payment can be made by cheque, cash, credit card, or e-transfer.

Step 3: Arrange for delivery of the death certificates and cremated remains

Approximately 7 to 10 days after your appointment, the cremation will be completed and the funeral director will call you to arrange handover of the death certificates and cremated remains. Our preferred delivery method is through Canada Post Express but there are several other options available for a small fee.
