How Our Cremation Services Work

Someone Has Just Passed Away, What Do I Do?

At this moment you are probably feeling lost and overwhelmed. You have never had to deal with this before and you don’t know what to do. Don’t worry, those feelings are perfectly normal, and we are here to help you through the next steps. It may sound cliché, but it really is as easy as 1..2..3:

Step 1: Pick up the phone and call our 24-hour service line

Our staff are available to answer any questions you have. Our transfer service works around the clock so whether someone you love passed away during the day, or the middle of the night, we can transfer them into our care.

Step 2: Schedule an appointment with one of our funeral directors to complete the paperwork

It usually takes no more than 30 minutes to walk you through the paperwork, either by phone or over Zoom. In person appointments are also available if you prefer. Payment can be made by cheque, cash, credit card, or e-transfer.

Step 3: Let us know how you would like to receive the death certificates and cremated remains

Approximately 5 to 7 days after your appointment, the cremation will be completed and the funeral director will call you to arrange handover of the death certificates and cremated remains. There are several options available to you including pick-up from one of our three Lower Mainland locations (Vancouver, Maple Ridge, or South Surrey), express delivery by Canada Post, or hand delivery to your home or office by one of our staff.
